Golfing on Grand Cayman is a wonderful experiences, with beautiful courses and lovely views from nearly every hole. Grand Cayman Brittania was designed by Jack Nicklaus, and its Cayman Course is famous for requiring players to use a slower moving ball that travels half the distance of normal balls. The newest course on Grand Cayman is the Ritz Carlton Blue Tip designed by Greg Norman. It is a spectacular nine-hole course that offers beautiful views and great golfing, with eight of its nine holes on the water. The Links at Safe Haven is considered the most difficult of the Grand Cayman golf courses. It was designed by Roy Case and features trade winds. The Links at Safehaven is an 18-hole, par-71 championship course with five driving distance options. Hole number 11 is the course's signature hole, with a 235 yard drive into the strong Caribbean tradewinds. To schedule a tee-time, call  (345) 945-4155  . The Britannia, at the Hyatt Regency in the heart of Seven Mile Beach, is the only Jack Nicklaus-designed course in the Caribbean. The course is actually two courses in one, with a par-58 executive-style, or short, course, and a par-70 championship course. On Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sunday morning, the course is played Executive format. Otherwise, it is played as a very challenging 9-hole regulation course. Most golfers play with regular golf balls, but the Cayman Ball, specially developed by Jack Nicklaus to travel half the distance of a normal ball and give the feel of playing a regulation course on an executive course, can provide a new and different experience.
